    Opinions on 2006 Sprinter 2500

Turtle was spot on. According to Edmunds the van is worth $13,500 and that's absolute top dollar-dealer retail. This year didn't have DEF correct?

    Opinions on 2006 Sprinter 2500

What do you guys think of a 2006 Sprinter 2500 with the 158 wheelbase. It is in excellent shape and has 124k miles on it. The van is very clean with no rust but the seller wants $17k for it. Is this a decent price for a 10 year old van or would it be wiser to look for a newer model?

If you're referring to my original post the only thing I edited is a typo. Besides, what are you? The forum police?

    How start courier business?

Since you took the initiative to question and attack my ethics, let me clarify. If I walked into these businesses face to face they probably would give me work just from knowing me. However, I am not like that. I was simply asking about ideas on how to advertise a new service. The customers of...

    How start courier business?

If you had deeper reading comprehension skills you would realize that I was simply asking how to advertise my business. Not go after customers of my old company.

    How start courier business?

What is the best way to advertise a new courier business? I know some customers who would need my services but I don't want to approach them due to a non-compete clause from the company I used to be signed on with.

    Courier work

In such an event their business liability insurance would cover that. Just like if a 500 pound woman walked into your carrier's office for whatever reason, slipped and fell, broke her leg, and sued the company for a million dollars. The vehicle insurance that their O/O's carry is something...

    Courier work

So they want to make sure you can drive your own vehicle? Sounds goofy. Plus considering as an O/O you carry your own insurance so it won't affect their rates if you have an accident.

    Courier work

You were at a crap bottom feeder company. I made that mistake with the first courier gig I did. Bailed out after just six weeks and I'm at a much better outfit now. There are days where I gross over $300. Let's just put it this way, my worst weekly settlement here was the same amount as my best...

    Courier work

Did you run a cargo van or car when you did courier work? The company I am with tries to give me only van appropriate shipments whenever possible. Like one or two skids. They do that because they pay a higher commission to van O/Os than car guys so they lose money if they have me do an envelope run.
