    Thank you for the replies. The main reason would be initial start up costs. A used straight truck VS a bus, for the same money, buses can be had with 1/4 the miles. There are buses available that will run 70, maybe 75. I would think if I added a rear door, pallet can be moved with a pallet jack...

    OK, same could be said for a van. If a bulkhead was installed, strip out the seats and put a roller door on the back, there's not much difference.     I did, most of it seemed unrelated. There was an instance decades ago relating to a under performing carrier using buses, an tainting the concept. So have buses been totally blacklisted by the industry?
