Straight Truck Solo or Team driver

Hello, I got my CDL A in May 2022 and had my first driving job in February 2023 at Systems Transport, a flatbed company.

I got fired in July 2023 for a minor accident. I'm not sure if this is on my record but it was not on my PSP when I last checked or my DMV record. There was no ticket or DOT in involvement. I have been driving rideshare since that time and maintained but I'm ready to go back OTR. Before trucking I had two jobs in my life, the USN as an electronics technician and at Qualcomm as a support engineer.

I'm 45, a bachelor, in excellent health, I have 2 adult children, and have decided over the last year and a half that I enjoy trucking and I want to be on the road for the next few years with a "live in the truck" mentality.

My intention is to save and buy a tandem axle expedite truck and become a owner operator after learning the business.
