Thanks. I have a carrier apu. I run my roof top AC without a prob. Usually turn off the ac if using the microwave. Just because.

I was thinking about an upgrade for my truck. I have one in my RV, love it. Anyone have one? If so, how does it work with APU?

APU's best bang for the $

So my Coleman Roughneck roof top AC is all hooked up and running. What a difference. The install was not that bad, I did it myself. My truck already had a vent that was the perfect size as most are for a roof mount ac. I wanted to keep my vent but did not want another hole in my roof...

APU's best bang for the $

After research and the information from the forum, I made a purchase from Taylor Made APU. This place is not only a APU sales and service but "Taylor made truck and trailer repair" services trucks, trailers of all makes. Very professional. I'm very pleased with my new rebuild carrier apu. I...

    Refrigerator

I got the refrigerator swap done. It fit nicely in the old refrigerator spot. I did have a bit of trimming but nothing a Sawzall couldn't handle. I did have gaps on the sides but finished it with premade floor board's from Lowes. I wanted to share in case anyone else was curious. Also...

    Refrigerator

I have that exact fridge. I got it for mom while she was in a assisted living home. She passed away shortly after, so it's like new. That's the one I will be putting in my truck next home time. Thanks everyone for your input. As usual very much help.

    Refrigerator

I'm curious if anyone has tried using a house refrigerator in a ST? I have a 3.1 cf that is brand new. The one in my truck is worn out. I have a larger inverter and six batteries. I think my biggest concern is will it take the bumps, jultz etc. of being in a truck on the road.

APU's best bang for the $

I have 12000 hrs on mine. I've reinsulated it and lined all the doors with foam pipe and wrap for noise factor. Ive also fiberglassed holes rust holes up on both the main unit and condenser. I think the water pupm is ready to go. It was leaking. I flushed it and now its not. I probably could...

Thanks I'll look into that. I already have a a Freedom 458 inverter. I'll call the Taylor made place. My ac, heater and bunk heater work great. May i can get a new apu and condenser to fit what i have. It doesn't hurt to ask.

APU's best bang for the $

I'm starting to research and plan to purchase a new apu. Mine has a lot of hours on it and the last time i had it serviced the tech. said I would be lucky to make it through the summer. I would like to get some input from anyone with recent experience in a purchase of this nature. THANKS
