Please don't shoot the Moose!, but... have you considered local carrier ?, maybe Currier service ?, intrastate carriers some times can help you when interstate carriers can't. it will help if you tell us what part of Florida. i don't think we ever had a solo driver from F.L that survive this...

i don't know, we have 4 skateboard truckers here, all tried the Expedite gig, and all do VERY well out there, ALL will recommend their carrier to any expediter. i'v been with my carrier for almost 2 years, and can't seem to find NOTHING wrong with them. it is EXTREMELY hard to find a trucker...

Interested in subcontracting drivers for FedEx Custom Critical

this is a red flag. owning a truck for someone else to drive, is assuming the financial risk they can't(or won't be willing) to assume by themselves. you will have to insure your business to the nose, and provide the financial needs to support a small business in a worst case scenario. a good...

    Random drug screen testing?

A note found in the mans restrooms @ the NASA Houston space center : "YOU GUYS ORCHESTRATED A PERFECT LANDING ON ANOTHER PLANET, YOU CAN PINPOINT A MISSILE TO HIT A WINDOW 7,000 MILE AWAY, YET YOU CANT EVEN HIT A 2 FOOT CIRCLE HALF WAY TO THE FLOOR" - the cleaning lady.

    Driver Responsibilities

will have to disagree on that one . yes , hitting a bridge is uncalled for , but it is an accident . for the simple rezones ,(& that rezone only !) ,that local city's are using bridges as a source of income . as long as they issue tickets for 'U turning' a truck from infront of a low overpass...

    carriers

from what i read here in the past , it is 1+1= 1/2 for the most parts . DoT is OK with it ,as long as you keep your paperwork in order . same goe's for the Insurance . some carriers will not allow it . think of it as a 'just in case truck' they can call ,if they donot have a truck...
