How can that be? An '08 truck has to be built to handle ULSD. If it isn't, that's Hinos fault.

Slightly better than what? The Hino drivers that'll give me an actual answer say they get less than 10. Others don't give a number and will sometimes go into some kind of convoluted "explanation".

Sterling uses vendors like Eaton or Allison for their transmissions and other drive line components. There was nothing in this thread about a 500hp truck. Broompilot's post was a good example of how a truck with a decent torque rating can perform.

RE: Waiting on Hino I'm not sure you've had a problem with Churneys. How did you arrive at the figure of 10k? And, if they did overcharge you, why did you order the truck?
