    Hazmat GPS w/multiple routes

I talked with a Rand McNally rep and she said the Intelliroute can optimize multiple point Hazmat routes, so I think I'll go with it—I like its interface and it has free updates that are mac compatible.

    Hazmat GPS w/multiple routes

Thanks for your opinion Turtle, the job I'm considering involves up to 6 hazmat stops a night, so I think the PC Miller's multiple route optimization is a nice plus. By the way, it seems to be offered in a lap top platform like Streets & Trips as well: PC*MILER|HazMat: ALK Technologies I'm...

    Satellite communications

There is no justification for taking it from behind. QC is a money maker for both o/o and carrier when you find a convenient, fast load. I think it's bad business practice to overcharge for it, kinda disrespectful. The best place to split the money is at where the shipper is paying for the load.

    WIFI on the truck

The $40 Virgin Mobile plan doesn't include Canada. I was wondering if one could buy a pay as you go type thing with Virgin Mobile Canada for when one is there. That might work out. I'm still skeptical about Clear's coverage until I hear some testimonials of people who are using it in...

Thanks, I'll check out the Clear service, but wanted to also mention Virgin's Mobile's new no contract plan. It's 3g at $40/mo. for unlimited usage, for both Mac and PC. Ovation MC760 (Virgin Mobile) Preview | PCMag.com Not sure about Canada with its coverage. I was wondering if anyone...
