    Cargo van making strange noise.

Owned a 2004 E350 Ext in the first few years of expediting. Front end bushings/alignments were common problems(wearing out). Had alignments twice a year. When it was out of the alignments, the front tires slowly sarted to show the uneven surface like dips, ridges, bumps, etc. These may not...

    Higher mileage Promaster

I'm at 655,555. My carrier doesn't ask and I don't tell. Once it hit 1,000,000 miles and reset, I'll report in at 200 miles. Lol... Really, if you stick with same carrier for a long time, they tend to ignore the high mileage.

    TRANSIT WOES

Hi Moot, thanks for bringing this throttle problems up. This problems should be included in a regular maintenance schedule, especially for us high milers. Torque converter is difficult to diagnose and a replacement can cost the same as "a good used trans" or a rebuilt one. If this was my situation, I'd look up and say a prayer...lol.. It's a tough decision to make, especially what if it's not a torque converter. Don't know the answer, but...
