What carriers are taking on vans?

I dont think that info was correct. The only insurance we require is that state that requires workers comp. We have to be a "cert holder" on that policy. I dont believe that cargo's or sprinters even have liability insurance, do they? Additional insured is not a practice we participate in.

What carriers are taking on vans?

Sorry, that's not my style. Anyways, I am going to check into what Michelle said on the phone. This is the new office and it does not sound correct. It is indepent of us, but not a excuse. I have cargo vans that I run personally out of my office, and there are no issues at all.

    Express-1 info please

Your so correct. Its sucks, because I want to talk to everyone, but being recruiter, is awesome, then putting out fires in dispatch, billing, operations, drivers, trucks, safety is the other things that happen when I do try to return calls. Sometimes it's easier to go back and forth. As the owner...

    I'm not recruiting!! I'm curious...

Some things I do forget to mention, like paid orientation, plus lunch, coffee, bagels, donuts, etc. A IPad is like a laptop I think it's better, and a $1000 is better than the $100. And the cute secretary, well that's my perk!!

If you are familiar with the Sylectus system and know the players involved I sent Rob Bonello who is a recent former employee of Sylectus. He worked in the transportation field at the old ASAP Expedite and Logistics as operations manager for 6yrs before going to the old GPS411 now Sylectus...

I did not send it to you. I will. I should have told you about the delay but that's where my mind is at. I spent the day on the phone with recruiting and took some of the drivers to lunch. I'm not recruiting!! I'm curious...

Here is my vision. And remember I'm not at 300% turnover like Panther and FedEx. I'm 98%retention. I know I keep saying it:D The reason for the IPad and where it oringinated was I saw a need for the O/O to have access to the internet 24/7. And believe or not most people who apply do not have...

    I'm not recruiting!! I'm curious...

I feel stupid given away aFREE IPad and $1000. But it's a tool to use for the industry and personal and their kinda cool anyways. Of course it's a IPad or $1800. cash after a O/O's 18th working day. Now the way I figure it, the average O/O works 18 days a month. Of course it varies. So 18days...

why is it so hard for a recruiter to return your calls

Your right, And I'm guilty!! Not that it's a excuse, however, last week I was fortunate to have more calls than usual, a fleet owner that signed on his trucks, along with the rest of safety responsibilities and then along came the dreaded flu! So I was definately guilty last week of being "hard...
