Removing DEF system?
Yes, it still has all components they def tank stays full and I am no longer having regin issues. When it is hooked up to a computer it looks factory set. I had warranty work done after I had deleted.

I have been told not to buy one, that they have a lot of motor and transmission problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Removing DEF system?
Yes the def system can be deleted. I just had it done on a 2011 mx paccar. It shows that it was done at the factory.
