    Awesome Van

I was looking through the Van expediter photos, and saw a black, Panther II van with a raised roof. Is the owner somewhere on this website? Where did you have the work done? [email protected]

    Who Drives for an O/O???

I have decided to drive for an owner operator first before purchasing my own van or truck. Does anyone here on E.O. actually drive for an O/O? What are the advantages and disadvantages? If you drive solo, is your salary decent? (minus fuel, tolls, food, repairs, etc.) What are some pointers...

    Insurance for Newbies (????)

I'm seriously considering entering into this industry. But most insurance companies will not insure someone without experience. (i.e. TIA, OOIDA). Does anyone have insight on this issue? How did you go about attaining insurance?

    Dedicated Routes (???)

Does anyone know if the Expedite Companies hire for dedicated routes where I can be home nightly? I'm not in this for the money, but because I love the work it involves and I prefer to be an indendependent worker. I live in Louisville. Thanks for the advice.

    Salary/Pay/Income

I spoke to a van O/O a few weeks ago who told me he delivered for a broker and Makes $1,000 a week. In that case, C or D units should make close to twice that amount. What is the average weekly salary for a B, C or D unit? How much are you hard working expediters make? I see you on I-65 all...

    Planning to Succeed

There's an old saying if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Mabe some professionals in this forum can answer my questions. I'm kind of stubborn, so I plan on buying a van unit. (Even if veterans advise me not to.....) ~What is a maximum payment I should have for a cargo van (and afford it)...

    GMC or Chevy Cargo Van

If anyone has any of these vans, more than likely you did not purchase through Alumi-Bunk. I'm trying to get one in my area with 0 % APR but can't find anyone to convert the van to a expedited van. Any suggestions? I live in the Louisville area.

    VANS-Hiring Freeze or Phase Out?

While at the Expedite Show in Detroit I had a positive outlook for this business, but now red flags are going up. I called at least seven different companies, none are hiring vans, and a couple havn't hired any for 6-9 months. (???) One was hiring but I don't team. What's truly going on with...

    Expedite/Detroit 2003

What a learning experience. I saw many recruiters, too bad several are not hiring vans. However after speaking to people in the business at the expedite show, I'm sure this is what I want to do. Thank you all who were there and provided information. Roadrunner.

    Van Conversion

Can anyone direct me to a company that does van conversions? I will purchasing a GMC 3500 extended van and wanted to have the roof raised, plus a frig, microwave and tv installed. No one in my area builds "expedite" vans. I saw a ford cargo van on one website but the idea of the bed installed...
