Well, sir, I believe you just asked me to leave your forum. Thanks folks for the hospitality you've shown. I wish you all the very best.
ps Keep being a centrist Ragman - the world needs that. :)
Who was proven wrong and what are you talking about? The econ thread where Turtle explained that a one sided argument sets off his BS meter so he proceeded to give an astonishingly one-sided explanation of a complicated event?
Look. If you're ticked that I laid into you a bit, please...
That's the beauty of S&T and why we'll miss it. You could d/l poi files and know where every weigh station, or rest area, or Walmart, or Truck Stop was. And I love that when I find a good overnight sleep spot or great restaurant I can save it for future reference.

Re: Forget I bothered
Serving food for tips is hard work. I'm a $2 guy. My usual restaurant meal is breakfast and ranges from $8 up to maybe $12. I'm happy to leave $2, occasionally more. Waitresses work hard and I usually assume they've got kids they're trying to feed.
The 'F' word is featured prominently so don't click if bothered by it.

Ahhh but you miss the ingeniousness of my handle. It provides the perfect way to separate the genuine idiots from the imposters.
Btw, here's your sign. :)
What? That's all the Trailer Park Uprising I get? I feel like Rodney Dangerfield. I can't get no respect.
What's funny is the number...
What a one sided explanation for the banking meltdown. Turtle, you totally left out bankers bellying up to the feeding trough and getting their fill while socializing the risk. They'd write mortgages, package them and sell them to Wall Street profiteers. They didn't ask for nor check...
You can pick up a kill-a-watt for around $20 and see what's happening load-wise.

My hunch is Turtle is right and the a/c is just getting old or needs service. I've got the same gen and it starts and runs my (new) 8,000 btu a/c in eco mode.
Exactly. But doing it yourself usually requires a little ingenuity, and that's the fun part. Maybe not at the moment :) , but later on when you look back on it.
