    Awesome Van

I was looking through the Van expediter photos, and saw a black, Panther II van with a raised roof. Is the owner somewhere on this website? Where did you have the work done? [email protected]

    Female Expediters(?)

I would like to know more about the industry from a woman's perspective. Particularly those who run solo. Free lunch from me would be a start. I'm located in Louisville. [email protected]

    FYI

I know there was another recruiter on EO claiming that their company had many dedicated routes. Well, when I called, not only did the company not have these routes, but dedicated hasn't been available for a long time. (over a year) So be careful of any recruiter.

    Who Drives for an O/O???

I have decided to drive for an owner operator first before purchasing my own van or truck. Does anyone here on E.O. actually drive for an O/O? What are the advantages and disadvantages? If you drive solo, is your salary decent? (minus fuel, tolls, food, repairs, etc.) What are some pointers...

    Insurance for Newbies (????)

I'm seriously considering entering into this industry. But most insurance companies will not insure someone without experience. (i.e. TIA, OOIDA). Does anyone have insight on this issue? How did you go about attaining insurance?

    Dedicated Routes (???)

Hello Teacel, Again, I'm not in this for the money, but that doesn't mean I'm saying I'll work for free, but for a decent salary (like 35K). When recruiters tell wannebees we can make around $50-60K a year, why would anyone not work in expediting for the money? And of course no one will be...

    Dedicated Routes (???)

Does anyone know if the Expedite Companies hire for dedicated routes where I can be home nightly? I'm not in this for the money, but because I love the work it involves and I prefer to be an indendependent worker. I live in Louisville. Thanks for the advice.

    Your own authority-Van Drivers

Is anyone in this forum operating under their own authority and not leased with an expediting company? What is the procedure? Is it expensive? Or is it in my best interest to lease on first as a newbie?

    Salary/Pay/Income

I spoke to a van O/O a few weeks ago who told me he delivered for a broker and Makes $1,000 a week. In that case, C or D units should make close to twice that amount. What is the average weekly salary for a B, C or D unit? How much are you hard working expediters make? I see you on I-65 all...
