Here it is the 1st of December all ready. How’d that happen? I’m sitting tonight in Raleigh, NC after finally getting a run with decent miles, over 600 to be exact.   I picked up near Columbus, and delivered close to the East Coast of North Carolina, then came back over to Raleigh to sleep.

You can definitely tell it’s winter time!   I drove thru some pretty good weather changes. In the mountains of WV and VA, there was pretty good snow cover on the ground, then today here in NC, it was 60 degrees and sunny!   That’s one of the cool things about this job, if you’re cold .. or hot… just wait a day or two… you’re probably be in the opposite weather! The problem is, knowing how to pack this time of year.   I usually keep a jacket in the van, but have to remember to pack different warmth shirts.   I can need thick sweatshirts when I load up in Ohio, then drive into short sleeves weather!   It’s pretty cool tho.   Never boring… except when waiting on dispatch to call!

By the way….24 days til Christmas!
