Bouncin around!

Last week ended up a pretty good week. Not a record week, but in top 10 :-)  .  Would have been top 5, but my last load, a good load going to Saint Louis, cancelled AFTER I was loaded, which definately sucks.  Turns out the shipper and the customer both booked the load with different trucking companies.. and for some reason.... the customer wanted the other company, which I had never heard of, and that's saying something! Oh well, so, I stayed in the area waiting for another run to materialize til Friday night. It never did, so later Friday evening, I took my 'dry run' (first out) status home with me for the weekend. I went out of service and spent some time at home with family Saturday who had come out to our property to kill some tin cans, sheets of plywood, etc LOL.  My nephew collects old military guns, and he came out to show me some of his latest aquisitions. Plus, my daughter decided to give an early birthday present (it's not til Feb)... of the 9 millimeter variety.. heh. Gotta love kids sometimes!

Sunday after church I went back in service, and promptly got offered a multi-stop run in Indiana for today. Due to the Colts win, there was a demand for their merchandise, and seeing as how expediters are 'on demand' type of business, well, expediters got the call !  I went to a supplier, and spent today bouncing around Central Indiana delivery loads of product.  Not the highest profile, or most expensive loads I've ever hauled... but man were people glad to see me! LOL... them Colts fans are SERIOUS!
