You hear a lot of crying about truck dealers and their monkey-shines, right? Some independant repair shops can be rip-off artists too. A question on the newbies forum brought up a good thing for me to share. Make friends with a TRAILER shop in your local area. These guys can do a lot more than you think with straight trucks, and usually at very reasonable prices. Brake work, tire work, spring and air ride work, electrical work, etc. And if you like cool lighting stuff (I don't but some do) they will most likely have tons of it. They can work wonders with the box on your truck too, E-Track, doors, roof leaks, whatever.
