Just a reminder that the Soap Box was created after Greg and I had many hours of discourse. It led to this bright idea, so we were the catalyst for it . I was the ONLY non cool aid drinker at the time, and still am it appears.However, I respect your little chat room, but since managment here wants my hits for the $$$ and fills my mail box with "updates" and invitations,I ask that they please delete me from the dada base.I won't come around and throw sand in the boys and girls faces anymore.I thought you were bigger Turtle,nananana.

Too bad TC...you were great when you stuck to the issues and when you did not go after the members in general, with snide remarks.....
You vigorously defend your state and don't back down...

You are applying liberal ideology to conservatives. Just because there might be a disagreement doesn't mean we will try to stop you from speaking, that is the liberal way, conservatives like a good debate.

OH YEAH? PROVE IT!

I doubt that there are as many 'conservatives' in here as claim it. There are no liberals, well maybe one, and a small number of socialists.

Hey, Greg invoked you, not I! Canadian socialist my hind leg. ANYONE belongs in here as long as they adhere to the few, simple rules of conduct. It's not that hard.

In today's world the 'liberals' are the conservatives of the past. The conservatives are 'moderate' democrats of the past. Moderates are fence sitters with no convictions. Independents have no clue and often just flow with the tide.

How's that? ;)

The reason for Tallcal catching so much grief from me this time around is because of his hit and run tactics first, and secondly and way down the list is the type of post. There was little to debate with his post, and if there had been he has proven that he wouldn't stick around to debate it.

What he did when he was slightly more active in the Soapbox I really can't speak to because I was not a reader of that part of EO. He wasn't suspended, banned, nor were his posts removed. All he has to do is stick around and post.

You on the other hand stick around and defend your positions. Most of the time you give your reasons for your positions. But all to often you simply say something along the line of "If you knew the whole story" or something similar. If what you are saying is that we need the whole story to be informed then at minimum you should post a link so that we can reference it. To me it makes it sound as though you are saying that you have some inside information that no one else has access to. There was an example of this about two weeks ago that you never responded to when more than one member asked what you were talking about.

I certainly don't want any member to leave this site because they think they are being persecuted, but by the same token I want tangible facts.
