Tuesday, 15 July 1986, New York, NY.
Honeymoon, with same girl as now ️
Rack of lamb, champagne, etc. Bill, with tip: $120
Food: 9.5/10. Service, for a couple the staff knew were just working stiffs like themselves: 12. Seriously, we were treated like royalty.
Always told Nancy I would take her back to that restaurant, but never did.

Now, I never can. The restaurant was Windows on the World, North Tower, World Trade Center.

Moral of the story: make a promise happen.

Edit: a 1978 Dollar is worth $3.98 today, adjusted for inflation !!!!!
