I'm not convinced Facebook is the problem. Facebook is not new. It existed 10 - 12 years ago. At that time EO and the other sites were active. Some members were on multiple forums. There was a feeling of comradery regardless of carrier.imho, people flocked to facebook ......

Perhaps, but even if Facebook is/has attracted people, they are most likely just using their carriers page. Why?, lack of comradery.
