The only advantage I have found on running weekends is most times (not always) I am able to stay in really good freight lanes not to mention start the week on a positive note (normally we have a 0600 delivery). As for missing fantastic runs, I don't think it makes a difference, it's still a right place at the right time gamble. Since we're a husband/wife team, sitting in the truck offers the same company as sitting at home, so it doesn't make too much of a difference for me.
