There are many good weather sources out there thanks to the internet. I recently found another one. While it is aviation related, it easily translates into very good surface transportation information.
CWSU National TAF METAR maps - NOAA NWS
All times are GMT. Currently Central time plus 6 hours.

Here is one for radar. I'm sure many of you use this or something similar.

Would like to point out that for those with XM/Sirius the Road Dog channel (XM 171) has very nice road reports at the top (North/South) and bottom (east/west) of each hour.

I've been using Weather Bonk - Live Weather, Forecasts, WebCams, and more on a Google Map the last year or so. It has multible uses other than just area weather reports:

--Trip Forecast
--Local radar
--Local cams
--Local traffic


It's the swiss-knife for the commercial driver.
Thanks! I just used it to check the weather in Australia, where my daughter and her husband are vacationing, lucky folks! Nice and warm in Alice Springs today!
