Yep its true!! We had actually hauled a wg load last week and talked with Keven the wg dispatcher and found out some interesting stuff. It seems that wg is getting tired of them crybabies "NOT" minding their own business and calling wg for stupid stuff. They were sent a msg on the qualcomm to stay to themselves and mind their own business and to stop making crap up. And by us looking at our stats for the year, we were only in service 41% and still grossed over 100k. So the wife and I decided to stay another year and see what happens. We havn't even submitted are app's to landstar yet, we're gonna hold on to them. Its not entirely FDCC fault that we hadn't run that much this year. We were out till march from the sept 04 accident, out for a month in july when the 2nd incident occured with the boxvan's driveline, and we were out on and off for a few months cuz of freightliner screwing us on un-needed repair's. We feel that we "owe" FDCC more patience, for FDCC has to us.
We came to this conclusion also cuz we met a wg couple on line here at EO that had emailed us on topic about wg. The same thing happened to them and by the same people. They knew who we were talking about, cause they used to hang out with them when they too had a supersleeper. They sold there's and went to a "d" unit, so they wouldn't have to hang with "them" type of people again. We were told by them that with a "D-C" unit that the people were much nicer. In fact, most of the nicer people we know drive "d-a" units. We think that when we get one of our three lawsuit settlements, we're gonna convert our tractor to a "d" unit in 2006 and hang with the cool grown-up's. So MERRY CHRISTMAS, and here is a pic for ya....
