Van Sleeper Installations

Have just purchased a 158" WB Sprinter, and will be putting it into service as a team van. We are stepping down from a very roomy "D" unit.

I've looked through the forums and have found little on sleeper installations.

Could any folks who have taken this route, make some recomendations on companys that will either install a sleeper or sell a kit for installation. I've looked at Benz's web site, great sleepers but kinda pricey.

Thanks :) :)

Have you looked a Midwest Specialty Sleepers. Bob Caldwell sells these and Bentz. Number is on EO home page.
Alot of local van conversion places might be of help as some are reasonably priced. Should be something local in your area.
Alot of times these conversion places do conversions for ambulances, handicap or special assist people.
Alot will depend on how elaborate you are trying to go.

Might have some options right where you live?

Alot of guys do there own as well.

There are a few good threads on van buildout. They may be in the archives by now. Dieseldoctor has a really cool bed system that lowers from the ceiling so the full length is available for cargo along with being able to sleep. Do a search on dieseldoctor and it should come up. Good luck.
