UAW allows reasonable labor costs

It looks like the UAW has realizied they are working on pricing themselves out of power, when I read the article I was a little shocked to see what the combined per hour rate is with pay and benefits.

Shocked why?

They stated all of this last year, they will make the rank and file make the concessions knowing two important things -

their dues will not be reduced

people need jobs so they will work for cheap wages

which both of these together mean they will grow in their ranks.

By the way, the workers combined wages and benefits are still over $80 an hour, that number is doctored and comes form GM's latest propaganda .. I mean report.
