TSA Certificate

Hi, everyone
Surely this topic has been raised and more than once, but still ask for advice. How can a company receive a TSA certificate? How does it all work? Or should a TSA certificate be obtained only by the driver and not by the company? I will be very grateful to any explanations, advice, and links.

what is it you are wanting to do?....tender freight for air cargo (outgoing) or just pick up? or both?....

the company has to submit a list of people who are able to act as agents for there company
also have to have a back ground check
then there is some training as what is required of each person
you will not be able to drop off anything until you have your tsa cerf

Yup, just as geo stated. Got mine thru the company I leased to.

If ya pick up the shipments from the shipper and take them to the air frieght, you'll need to do the TSA ID verification(form) from the person who gave you the shipments. TSA cert. authorized you to do that.
