Hello gang, Weve been rocking and rolling this past week. weve put in about 4000 paid miles. Just wondering if this is because its the end of the year, is anyone else getting these miles?

My other question is too the drivers.
what trucks do you see on the road
heres my top 5 ive seen on the road since weve been driving.
1.pantherii
2.fedex
3.tri state
4.conway now
5.express one

as far as t/t goes ive seen nothing but double trailers for conway-now all over the east coast, but have rarely seen the straight trucks

sitting in fenton,mo right now waiting for a load going in the direction of the sunshine state.
wish everybody a merry christmas and a happy new year
be safe out there guys, ARRIVE ALIVE

There is always a peak in freight in December---Lots of people ordering Christmas merchandise. In January and February usually a big slow down can be expected. Thats end of fiscal year for a number of companies. It's also inventory time. Companies do not want to pay what is commonly reffered to as floor tax on merchandise that is just sitting in their warehouses at that time of year.
As far as the trucks I see on the road, I see more FedEX straight trucks and T/T's. Vans--Panther11. I see more expedite trucks and vans in Ohio than anywhere else. I guess Michigan ranks #2 in expedite truck siteings.
