As a film genre, I enjoyed the spaghetti westerns for the beautiful landscapes. The well known character actor, Eli Wallach, passed away a few weeks ago and I caught this interview on radio where he describes his acting career:

The NPR interview is from 1990. Interestingly, Wallach was classmates with John Connelly and Walter Cronkite at the University of Texas in the 1930's. Wallach died at age 98.
