We may have recently left FDCC to go into a new area of expedited freight but that does'nt mean we don't still get to haull freight for FedEx.
Today we delivered a very large jet engine to Memphis,Tn from Chicago. It belongs to a FedEx Freight jet and is to be installed at the Memphis maintenance facility.
While in transit they must be tarped, so when we picked it up we had to tarp wrap the whole engine. This particular engine happens to be 10' tall, 23' long, the engine stand is 98" wide and the unit weighs almost 15,000lbs. Can you fit that in you expedite box? LOL
Just part of the fun of our new job. I like challenges and reeeally big pieces of freight!
