Sprinter Idle Speed

Hi All,
I think this question was posted before but I can't find it. What is the recommended idle speed for a Sprinter if it is going to idle for 8 hours.

The Sprinters that have the factory Hi-idle system seem to run at 2000 rpm. I tried that and it sounded like the pistons were changing holes so I idle at 1100 when I idle. I had a Dodge dealer tell me anything over 1000 rpm is ok. I don't have the hi tech system. I just made a little idle stick that I can adjust. The best thing to do is to idle as little as possible though.
