Southern Expediter Companies

Hi Folks,

I need some help. I am interested in starting a career in expediting. I am wanting to start out in a cargo van to kinda get my feet wet. I have talked to a couple of companies, but they all seem to dislike the fact that I live in Alabama. Actually I have a pretty good location I am within 3 hours of Atlanta, Memphis, and Chattanooga, and within a hour of Birmingham. My real question is - Are their any expediter companies that are located in the southern part of the US that may allow me better home time and such. I appreciate any help you can give me and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Unless you are trying to stay close to home, it should not matter were you live. I would contact Landstar or Panther II, and see what they have to say? Good luck, I know there are not a large number of carriers adding vans at this time of year, so your choices will be fewer.
