Soulful sound from Appalachia. From toilet seats to this...

Never knew singer Bill Withers was a fellow Appalachian. Withers grew up in the coal mining region of Beckley,WV. A cursory search on Wiki states a 31 year-old Bill Withers was a factory worker building toilet seats for 747's when he wrote "Ain't No Sunshine." Something to think about next time you're in a factory and some young guy is humming a tune.
