We did this 1992 - 1995 with Bosnia. What a cluster F@#% that was!
Get ready for the false flag event that will rest assured get us involved in this one as well as Boston just didn't gain traction needed to get OUR troops into Russia.

Yeah, and contrary to the B.S. we have been fed since 1989 we are far from singing give peace a chance with Russia.
If I were to chose an ally I choose Russia.

According to the Washington Post
USA has 7700 nukes
Russia has 8500 nukes
China has 240 nukes
Iran and middle east countries that have a grudge with the US likely have nukes but don't want to be public.

8,500
+240
=8,740

We already loose this game.

You remember Benghazi? It is only 121 sq miles big. Russian is 8.4 million sq.miles big. Do the math. If you can't get your people out of Benghazi, how in the world does the USA expect to get anything done in Russian/Ukraine? Ukraine is 233,000 sq. miles in size and 45,000,000 people,,,right USA, lets go,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Putin's intention is to absorb Crimea back into Russia. His actions play well at home.

'Vlad the Great': Putin's Approval Rating Soars in Russia

You're really not buying that article? Putin never invaded anywhere, and this is the usual modus operandi at work in Europe.

"Vladimir Putin may have to endure the stern disapproval of U.S. President Barack Obama"

I doubt old Vlad is shaking in them there boots. Might be the other way around though.....:D

We've already lost the game, nukes aside. Russia has been making all the right moves with contracts, money, and oil reserves. The little venture into Afgan territory for the pipeline and poppy fields, were met with a yawn. For some reason, this current meddling has met with threat of force.

If push comes to shove, the American people will likely speak on this issue as they spoke on Syria:

Americans Overwhelmingly Oppose US Intervention in Ukraine

You can read the comments under that article to get a full view of what's really going on. Problem with Americans opposing war is......they get fooled time and again with the ole "we're under attack" thingamajig. With no real deductive reasoning or awareness, they then approve of the fallacious reason for sending in troops.

Putin knows who's behind this and what's at stake. It's very much akin to Hitler's real reason for invading Poland. The Russians in this region are not going to be pushed around, because Putin will not only defend them, they need that port.

Americans opposing war and minding they're own business?

Day late and a dollar short, comes immediately to mind.

Yup ...

We've managed to compel the pols and The Lobby to avoid outright war on both Syria and Iran thus far ...

They will surely not stop trying tho' ...

Eternal vigilance ...

Interesting piece on US foreign meddling, wherein Vladimir Putin offers the unwashed masses some schooling on free-market economics, and an 8 minute video clip of a presser where State Department Spokes-liar Jen Psaki, addressing ASOS Nuland's salty intercepted phone conversation, attempts to assert "No, that didn't actually happen ... and if it did, it was really something else entirely different" ...

Great comedy, if nothing else ...

Political uprisings have a way of catching on in faraway plaves. Crimea seceded from Ukraine at the ballot box. Quebecers might feel encouraged as well as other regions in our hemisphere. Self-determination and autonomy have enduring appeal.

There is no telling how many US states would voluntarily leave the Union given the opportunity to put it to a vote.

And would you support it - or condemn it ?
