Receipts vs. Bank statements

I understand that we don't have to keep receipts for items under $75.(even though I still keep receipts)
I have a separate account for my over-th-road (O/O) stuff (fuel, supplies, food, veh. repairs, etc.)
Is a bank statement good enough for tax purposes, since it only has my O/O expenses on it?
I also put all my O/O expenses in my Quicken program, I print out this register, for my files, is this good enough for tax purposes?

Thanx

Mouse. the only proof that you purchase any items are the reciepts, the bank statement does not explain exactly what you purchased.

SO THE ANSWER IS NO. TO USE YOU BANK STATEMENT FOR PROOF OF PURCHASE, THE IRS WILL LOOK AT U IN AN AUDIT AND WILL DISALLOW ALL DEDUCTION WITHOUT ACTUAL PROOF OF PURCHASE.
IF THERE ARE ITEMS THAT YOU SPEND THAT NO RECIEPTS ARE GIVEN, FOR INSTANCE WASHING MACHINES AND DRYERS ON THE ROAD. PLUS OTHER SMALL ITEMS EVEN IF A RECIEPT IS GIVEN, BUY A SMALL NOTEBOOK AND KEEP A DAILY LISTING ON THE ITEMS THAT YOU PURCHASE, OR A TRIP BOOK,
THIS WAY YOU HAVE THE SHIPPER, RECIEVER, DEADHEAD AND LOADED MILES
i USED A STENO BOOK FOR THIS.
LEFT SIDE DATE, SHIPPER & RECIEVER, TIME P/U/DATE DEL DATE
ON RIGHT SIDE YOUR ROUTE AND START AND STOP MILEAGE, INCLUDING FUEL DINNER AND SUCH. AND ON THE BOTTOM ALL THE EXPENSE FOR THAT DAY SINCE YOU DO NOT USE A LOG BOOK. THIS IS THE PROOF OF BEING OUT ON THE ROAD
