Just wondering if there is anything like this on the market for 2006 T1N Sprinter or NCV3 models for a 2000 watt model generator, watch the video from the 5:17 mark to get a idea. One thing I don't like is the gap between the door and the gen box, should sit closer to the doors.

Here we go, getting some ideas with this stowaway swing mount. Just need to mount a box on top, which you can build DIY out of
HDO Plywood. (ebay link)
