Qualcomm technical question

Marty

I am purchasing a Unicell that has a fiberglass fairing built into the body, extending over the cab. The area between the fairing and the cab roof has a sturdy selve with room enought to mount a Qualcomm bubble antenna. My question is, would the signal from the Qualcomm penetrate the fiberglass fairing or not?
Thank you,

There should be no problem. Currently I'm driving a KW T-2000 and the QC bubble is mounted under the fiberglass air dam over the sleeper and I have no problem with maintaining a signal.

Don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense being late.

Marty,

You won't have any problems beaming QC through fiberglass. I've seen many Cargo Vans have their QC installed under their raised roofs.

Thx NS and LM for picking this one up. I remember when it was posted, but it never got any attention. I was curious myself as to whether this would work. If I end with a 24' box on my Century class, I'm afraid the location of the QC bubble may become an issue. I've considered putting it on the inside of the sleeper as far out of the way as possible.

Thx,
