Yeap, Texas passed the bill that they ave been working on into law..Most of what the TSA now does during patdowns will now get the TSA employee doing them arrested...

I am sure barry and big sis will take this to court to try and block it, but this is exactly what more states, as i ALL of them ned to to...The Fed gov has no place in the Arline industry and their hiding behind the supremacy clause does support the Fed Gov either...

Way to go Texas...

AUSTIN (AP) - The Texas House passed a bill that would make it a criminal offense for public servants to inappropriately touch travelers during airport security pat-downs.
Approved late Thursday night, the measure makes it illegal for anyone conducting searches to touch “the :censoredsign:, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of another person” including through clothing.

It also prohibits searches “that would be offensive to a reasonable person.”

The bill’s chief sponsor is Republican Rep. David Simpson, who said, “this has to do with dignity and travel, and prohibiting indecent, groping searches.”

He believes it will keep Transportation Security Administration officials from treating travelers like criminals, though the measure may be superseded by federal law.

After a brief but raucous debate, lawmakers approved the measure with little opposition — drawing applause from supporters.

Getting inappropriately touched at the airport was one of the reasons I accept loads to Laredo. If it gets to hot, you just go over to the airport and hang out, as it were.

I see, or maybe I don't want too!! Maybe you need a three day class taught by an outside contractor on either how to avoid getting stuck in Laredo, OR, better ways to be inappropriately touched while in Laredo.

It is a political fluff bill....the legislators had nothing to lose and everything to gain from a non enforceable bill....
