This has been a year in the making there was no taps on the side of my engine to take high pressure so the oil cap had to be drilled and tapped. I used a Amsoil swivel fitting (BP-89) on the top of the oil cap The problem was always having leaks under the base because of the high pressure and the heat breaking down the sealants’ around it. This was fixed when my mechanic Terry from the Monroe Dodge Superstore (734)242-8458 thought about using Panel Bounder 3500 By Crest Industries. Under the fitting is a O-ring and then the top is covered with Panel Bounder.
This is feed to a Frantz Oil Filter ( ExpeditersOnline.com Expedited Trucking Owner Operator Careers and Truck Sales ) ED (951) 897-4153 ) this is a toilet paper oil filter all the oil is not going through this filter at ounce so the engine is not starved for oil The return line is feed to another Amsoil swivel fitting (BP-89) on the top of oil fill cap that has also been Drilled the nut has RED loctite on it so it will not come loose. If it does come loose the bolt is too big to go pass the cross hairs in the neck put why take chances. The Filter Bracket is bolted on the plastic part where the cabin air filter is so easy changes
For Oil Analyses I use Black Stone Labs in Fort Wayne IN free sample kits ( Blackstone Labs ) (260) 744-2380 now instead of doing oil changes I will just change the filter $3.00 and a oil simple $35.00 with TBN the additives in the oil and add make up oil to bring level full
