Got a call last month from the Big Kitty offering to replace my PacMan era QC with a newer style. Went to Seville and two hours later left with a small box I did not understand. It took a while to update before being operational but after some exploration it is most usable and a major improvement over the old one. It has not had any issues to date other than it is slow to open when the van has been turned off for a while, about 5- 10 minutes before it is working. It does have a larger memory so old messages don't disappear so soon. I understand all Panther trucks will have the new style over the next year due to government rules.
p.s. the distinctive bubble is gone from the roof because the new one uses cell phone signals.
