New GM diesel vans

Is anyone out there running the new GM vans with the Duramax diesel? They just came out for 2006. Just curious to know the mpg and any problems so far?

i took one to a dealership in ga last week and the guy said it was the third one he has replaced under warranty , something about the injectors.

Your van had the engine replaced? How many miles? What were the initial indicators that pointed to having a problem with this engine?

While the Duramax is new to vans hotshotters and RV haulers have put quite a few miles on them . I imagine an expediting van would get better mileage than a hotshotting pickup . There are some hotshotters at hotshothauling.com that could probably give you some good info on the Duramax .
