ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH MBE900 EGR COOLER GOING BAD? JUST CURIOUS IF ANYONE WHO HAS A MBE900 HAS HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH EGR COOLERS. HAD ONE GO BAD AT 70k AND AGAIN @ 140K. SEEMS TO BE A 70k MILE PROBLEM. EGR COOLER LEAKS COOLANT INTERNALY. BOTH REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY. PARTS WERE ABOUT $2K. WILL BE EXPENSIVE WHEN NOT UNDER WARRANTY. I AM TRYING TO ESTABLISH IF THIS IS A WIDE SPREAD PROBLEM WITH THIS PARTICULAR ENGINE.

I've got 90k on mine and no problems so far, knock on wood.

p.s. If you'll turn off your caps lock key your posts will be easier to read.

It sounds like it is idling at too low of RPM. It probably needs to be a little higher. This was a common problem on some M2's. You can buy a device to raise and lower your idle manually, or you will have to have the dealer adjust your computer.
