I am new to the forums, however I ran a truck years ago. I am currently going to run a Solo straight truck again. Currently looking for an experienced owner to shed light on a good maintenance and repair budget amount and practice. Thanks for the input.

one of things to do is step up maintenance account/ saving account , to take care of things
make it like a bill, keep a eye on miles for oil changes
when you need tires, don't buy them because you need them at that moment
plan a head , know how much a set of tires cost for your unit, some places will give you discounts
or company you drive for may have discounts with tire company and many other places, also ooida has a lot of discounts to
check out different places that you may have service done, and check out how much they charge
for service
also read owners manual for what needs to be done for each oil change so you know how much to have in account
go to dealer and ask what the prices are for oil changes, and other maintenance items
if your buying brand new check out how much prepaid maintenance would be, if it would fit into program
it would only cover oil changes and pms
