Interesting, yes.

So was the brake line recall on the new Promaster Van. ( a few stories down.)

Seems like a minor deal. Easy fix. And they got it before any problems occurred . Give someone credit for paying attention.

Release the vehicle. I get that stuff happens but it's so close to the beginning of the production that IMO they could've tested more and not had the problem

If I understand it right it was caused by a bad wrench
Not tightening to right torque ? Overtightening ? Cutting into line ?
Not a design/ engineering flaw.

I didn't mean to sidetrack the topic.

I carry 300 gallons of fuel. I wouldn't want to be sitting over 300 gallons of gas.
Although you probably wouldn't burn worse than if a hundred gallon tank of gas blew up.
