has anyone signed up to use the load board at www.expediteloads.com?I was wondering if anyone has any luck with it,if you find a load on there how do you get your carrier to go with it or do you need to get your own dot authority? thanks
In a nut shell...its not worth it. I own a small expediting company and have tried it several times and never had any luck with it. With expedited freight shippers a wanting different things from regular FTL freight. They want to know their carrier and they want to make one call and have someone else do the leg work. When it "gets bad enough" to call an expedited carrier the shipper is in a hurry and money is not the deciding factor in who to go with. Trust and ease of "use" is whats its all about.
I also am partners in a small expediting CO. and we tried them too and did not have any sucess , if anyone out there knows of a good website,or number to call for backhauls it would be EXTREMELY helpful.
