Well, Dave. Are you filling in for Jeff? That was a very well written article on costs. I've always been impressed on how aware you are of the costs to operate a truck(s). Everybody should pay attention to your advice.

I work for A. Blair; worked for FECC and Panther(in your truck). They all have different methods of paying their trucks. I would like to see somebody do a comparison of the different pay methods and how to determine the best choice to make. (But I'm not leaving Blair!!!!!)

I am with you Chet, Kudos are long overdue...
I have come to know a little about Dave over the last few years and if I had to sum him up in one word I would have to say proactive.
He is a perfect example of business man 1st and truck driver a distant 3rd.
I enjoyed the read Dave and appreciate you taking the time to define success.

Thanks guys as your opinions are greatly appreciated. But, it is just a fill in gig. I'm still learning from the master. Jeff is irreplaceable and clearly one of the best writers in the trucking business.

Of course Jeff J. is irreplaceable, but DaveKC is too! The article was very well written: direct, concise, and full of important points to learn & practice. I hope to see more like it, and thanks to Dave & Jeff for all the good articles already written, and those yet to come.
