I call BS on that one. If those numbers are true, that would mean that vehicles other than medium- and heavy duty trucks only contribute 2 percent of overall greenhouse emissions. The 27 percent number is probably correct, since that includes cars, trucks, rail, sea and aircraft.
So I
looked it up. That 25 percent figure isn't the percentage of the
overall greenhouse gas emissions, as stated in the article. it's the percentage of the
transportation sector.
Pretty kewl about the hydrogen powered trucks, though.
