Flew out of Norfolk VA on Tuesday nite to Washington DC, Changed planes and before I got on the Plane to Omaha they had to change 2 tires. Touch Down Omaha NE at 2359 hours on the 20th. Got a Hair cut. Going on Star Hill today. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I myself have worked though alot of Holidays Missed Xmas, Easter, 4th of July ect. Since Ive been out of the Millitary. Been Pounding the Pavement since the 30 year renunion this year back in July. Last week I said it time to Pull the Rocket Chair over and Take a break for a short spell. Dad took me on a tour of the Farm Yesterday in the 4 wheeler lots of changes looks like Ill be cutting wood over the weekend and a few other things as well. Dad said even though the Devil heat and draught killed most of the corn we still got 88 busshel of corn per acre. That is alot bettter than the next farm next door that got only 25 busshel per acre.
But 88 bushel is still realy bad for the farm. We both agreed that thanks to the Terraces that we put in with the Bulldozer back in the 70s when I was about 15 thats when I learned how to run a Bulldozer and a Scraper. Well any way thanks to them the Terraces that held the Moister it realy helped get that 88 bushel per acre.
