Fuel Tax Rate Increase in Illinois

Tomorrow, July 17th 2019 the fuel tax rate in Illinois will increase 24 cents, from $0.376 to $0.616. Are they trying to catch up with Pennsylvania?

Just trying to stay ahead of Michigan. Our wonderful governor wants to add .45.

Tell this to your dispatchers. I'm sure they will raise your load pay to compensate.
Never mind, you will get a raise in your fuel surcharge pay to off-set your increased fuel expense...and repairs...and insurance...and...and...and.
