Is there some strange answer as to why fuel is always sold at a price with .9 at the end, this is also common for the new gouge called def 289.9 or fuel 443.9 what is the skinny on this pricing washer fluid and other automotive liquids are normal, still over priced but normal

Psychologically the consumer is supposed to believe that fuel at $3.99⁹ is a much better deal than fuel priced at $4.00/gallon.

The DEF isn't 289.9, it's 2.899. $289 dollars would be a lot to pay for that!

had to do with taxes in the begining .9 was the tax on fuel a long long time ago
