Freightliner fl70 hood question

Hey freight brothers. Question for you. I have a 98 freightliner FL70. My hood got busted up some...Anyways I love my truck and was looking at another hood. But one of my friends said I should go with a newer freightliner 112 hood. He said it will fit. The length looks to be the same. Can one of you knowledgeable guys help me out. Will it fit??

There are people selling replacement hoods. They'd know.

I pulled up some pics of both hoods & I don't see why the 122 hood wouldn't fit. It's the same style truck. Go for it!

Minor shape, or spacing differences may bring buyers remorse.
