Yesterday, Thursday, April 7 my wife and I made a pickup at Orangeburg, SC and headed north late in the afternoon. At approximately the 5 mile marker on I-77 north of Columbia, SC we caught a glimpse of a FECC D Unit being towed south. It had damage on the front and/or fire. Not really sure. As I said, we just caught a quick glimpse. Anyone know any details of this crash---or fire or whatever?? Sure did hate to see that. We do not work for FECC but that truck was an awful lot like ours. Sad... Certainly hope everyone is OK.
